No matter what, you are welcome at St Nics

St Nics Durham is committed to being available for prayer and worship both in-person and through online platforms. Our Sunday services are at 9:00am, 11:00am, and 6:30pm. On a given Sunday one of our services will be available to watch online, where anyone is able to join in with us to worship our God and experience his presence with us.

Sunday Morning 9:00am

A positive and uplifting traditional Church of England service, that often includes Holy Communion. All are welcome. 

Sunday Morning
11:00am

A lively contemporary service that varies between a Service of the Word, Holy Communion and All-Age celebrations, with children and youth groups operating as part of the service. All are welcome. 

Sunday Evening
6:30pm

An informal and reflective service, that includes Communion once a month. The service is streamed the first Sunday of every month. Join us for an informal social time at a local pub after the service. All are welcome.

Daily Prayer 

These short prayer services are led by staff and members of our congregation and follow the Church of England's 'Daily Prayer' app.

​Monday 1pm

Pray with us as we pray with the whole church. Join us for daily prayer on Monday, we meet for lunchtime prayer at 1pm. 

​

Tuesday - Friday 9am 

Pray with us as we pray with the whole church. Join us for daily prayer on Tuesday - Friday at 9am in the chapel.

Holy Communion  

 

Wednesday 12pm

Wednesday communion has moved to a new time of 12.00pm (midday), from Wed 1st March onwards, in our chapel. This new arrangement will make it possible for attendees to stay on afterwards and enjoy time over tea and coffee, or soup and rolls, in the St Nics Cafe afterwards. All are welcome.
