Families at St Nics

St Nics is committed to providing a safe place for families where our children can learn more about Jesus. Our Children's Ministry runs during our 11am Sunday Service.

Sundays – 11am

Crèche: Up to age 3 – This is not just a baby sitting service! A typical creche programme involves playing, songs, a bible story, drinks and crafts.

Sparkly Stars: Ages 3-7 (Nursery and Reception & Years 1 and 2) – Those in Nursery and Reception meet in the Upper Hall in Church and Years 1 and 2 meet in the Lower Hall in Church. During our sessions we enjoy times of singing, craft, games and Bible Stories

Children's Church Ages 7-11 (Years 3-6) – This age range are part of our Youth and Children's church which meets in the Town Hall (after joining the congregation for the beginning of the service). During our time together we will explore Bible stories, play games and enjoy a range of crafts and other activities.

Tiddlywinks – Wednesdays 9:30am

Tiddlywinks is the St. Nic’s Parent/Carer and Toddler group and meets each Wednesday during school term time from 9.30 – 11.30am. We meet in the Youth Centre and there is lots of space for kids to play and adults to relax with a coffee!

One Mum said this about Tiddlywinks…

Tiddlywinks is an essential part of our weekly routine. It is one of the few groups where you can take a toddler and a baby and they will both be entertained and happy with little danger of the babies being trodden on by the toddlers. There is everything from dressing up to play doh and baby toys for them to chew on, while you get the chance connect with other parents.

Tiddlywinks caters for all. You are always made to feel welcome and supported, the Tiddlywinks team make a point of introducing you to new friends (and you often meet old ones) while your little one will be entertained and safe.
