Youth - Sunday and midweek
F.R.O.G. 10-13 yrs, (Years 6, 7 and 8)
Sunday 10.15am - start at the Youth Centre and we join with the other groups for worship in the Town Hall at 11:00am.
Thursdays 7.30-9pm (In the Youth Centre)
F.R.O.G. (Fully Rely on God). A fast-moving mix of games, drama, group work, discussion and Bible study.
ROCK 13+ yrs (Years 9 and above)
Sunday 10.15am - start at the Youth Centre and we join with the other groups for worship in the Town Hall at 11:00am.
Wednesday 7.30 - 9.30 in the Youth Centre.
Special Events / Weekends Away
Our FROG and ROCK groups are invited to attend regional youth event IXth Hour which happens in Newcastle every couple of months. Dates of forthcoming IXth Hour events for 2012 are:
March 6th / April 29th / July 8th.
Youth weekends away are great opportunities to try out some new outdoor activities, get to know each other better and spend some time learning a little more about Jesus and what we believe about him.
For primary school children in years 3-6, the Explorers weekend away happens in the Lake District at the Thurston Outdoor Education Centre on Coniston Water. The dates for 2012 are June 22nd - 24th.
For FROG and ROCK members, the Spree North East weekend is organised by Urban Saints and features lots of amazing activities, fantastic bands and speakers and the opportunity to meet lots of other youth groups from our region. The dates for 2012 are June 29th - July 1st, keep it free!!
Each year we also take part in the Harvest Youth Festival. The dates for this year's Festival are August 15th - 19th 2012.
