Harvest Youth Camp August 18th - 22nd 2010
This summer, we're taking a group to Harvest for the first time. Harvest is a Christian Youth festival in the Northeast, which offers 5 days to really connect with God and grow in your faith. The festival takes place in a tent city in North Yorkshire and meetings take place in huge marquees. There are bible studies every morning and evening worship meetings all aimed at 12-18 year olds. Late at night, there are several venues to choose from including live bands, a jazz cafe and the ever popular loaves and fishes dining tent! There's also a sports programme, workshops and seminars and lots of opportunities to meet new people. For more information on exactly who and what is on this year, check out the harvest website. Explorers Weekend Away
This years Coniston camp was great fun, with glorious sunshine and lots of fun activities. 24 children were there from the Explorers group (and some year 6 FROG people!), with 3 junior leaders and 9 enthusiastic adults!! Here's some photos to show you how much fun we had!!
