Over twenty years ago two members of St Nic’s, David and Phyllis White retired to Spain. Here they joined a small church which met in a garage. The Pastor was an Englishman, Edward Bracier who knew the Lord was leading him to Spain and the Spanish people.
Many Spanish people have a mistrust of churches. This is in part a consequence of the Franco era when the Catholic Church was very close to Government. Preaching the Gospel and winning people for the Lord was never going to be easy. However with the financial and prayer support of St. Nic’s and a few other churches the congregation has grown to over 200.
