International Mission
If you are interested in short term service the church office has a directory of organisations providing opportunities. This is regularly updated and there is also a document about 'common pitfalls' which is worth looking at.

CHRISTIAN VOCATIONS exists to resource and challenge Christians to discover and practise their God-given vocation and mobilise them for his service.
How do we achieve this?
By providing details on thousands of opportunities to serve in the UK or around the world.
By providing services and support that will enable individuals to reflect on their personal gifting and calling, encouraging everyone to use their gifts in serving God.
By providing resources that motivate people and inform them about various topics, answering many of the frequently asked questions we receive.
By partnering agencies, events and churches to help challenge and channel people into suitable service opportunities.
The title 'UK Information Service for World Mission' is appropriate as OSCAR is seeking to provide a service that would further the mission of Jesus Christ throughout the world. OSCAR is a member organisation of the UK Evangelical Alliance and Global Connections. OSCAR is in agreement with the Basis of Faith of Global Connections.
Mike Frith, who has spent 10 years working as a pilot overseas with Mission Aviation Fellowship, manages the resource project and is the brains behind OSCAR. "Whilst overseas, I came to realize how difficult it was getting the right information from the UK on mission-related issues, said Mike. I was also in the unique position of meeting with other missionaries on a daily basis and realized many of them had the same problem."
Based on this need , Mike put together the resource project and is determined to see this information shortfall improve for future missionaries and overseas Christian workers. In September 2003, OSCAR moved to Redcliffe College. Mike Frith's FrithFlyer Website

- For God’s grace for us both as we experience frustrations and yet need to act in a Christ like manner at all times.
- For an appreciation of what we can do and what we cannot.
- For David involvement with Kigali Institute of Science and Technology(KIST) and the on-going work of raising standards and teaching quality.
- For Children’s ministry at the Cathedral.
- For the Kigali Anglican Theological College(KATC) [info 2006] – for its finances, for the student’s returning to their home churches, for its future and the need for good full time staff.
