Music Group and Worship Band
From 5 September, there will be three teams working in rotation at the 10.15am service to spread the workload and to allow for different musical styles to be explored. Team 1 will be led by Chris Wagstaffe, Team 2 by Jane Todd and Team 3 (the Youth Band) by Peter Clark and Dave Ross. The music at the 6.15pm service will be headed up by Tony Harries and at the 7pm at Sanctuary 21 by Jim Daniel. Practice times will also be reviewed and it is hoped that this will encourage people who were previously unable to commit. If you would like to explore the possibility of becoming involved in leading the sung worship at Church please speak to one of the above people.
In addition to performing at St Nics, The Music Group has often supported other churches in the local area, as well as carol singing and similar public events in various locations in Durham.
