What we do

We love to welcome students as members, but we're not just a student church. Nic's is a place to meet Christians of all ages and backgrounds.

Ministry Assistants Scheme

St Nic’s Ministry Assistants' project started in September 2010, our Ministry Assistants are involved in all aspects of church life, particularly youth and children's work, student work, international work and the community coffee lounge.

Youth & children

We have a range of activities and groups catering for all ages from 0 to 18 years, on Sundays and midweek.

Sunday services

We value Biblical preaching which applies God's word to our lives today, see the programme for sermon series details.

Tiddlywinks is our toddler group and meets in the week during term time.

Amigos is a regular meeting place for international students and friends.

This is a special kind of shop that offers a unique range of fairly-traded products from small producer groups in developing countries.

Community Coffee Lounge

The main aim of the coffee lounge is to provide a friendly welcome and warm hospitality, and to share God's love.

Light a candle, leave a prayer

Quiet reflection and prayer, with someone to pray with if you wish.

Small Groups

Small groups have a vital and essential role in the life of St. Nic’s. They provide opportunities for fellowship, worship, outreach, discipleship and service.

Pastoral Care

Caring and looking out for one another is our way of expressing Christ’s love.  This is the foundation of our pastoral care at St Nic’s and is the vocation of the whole people of God.

Mission Partners

We have links with churches overseas through our support for mission societies, both through prayer and financially.

Creative ministries

There are many practical ways to express your creativity at Nic's.

Prayer Ministry

We value Prayer Ministry as an important part of our Sunday services.  Members of the Prayer Ministry Team are available to pray with people about any matter, usually after the service, but sometimes during
