The Market Place Partnership
Caring for those who work, shop and socialize in the heart of Durham

Update

If St Nic’s is, “an Oasis of grace at the heart of the city,” we hope that the Market Place Partnership will be the channel through which the resources of that oasis will flow out to those who work, shop and socialize in the Market Place and surrounding area. This outward flow of grace is likely to include:

  1. The development of a pastoral link with the shops, businesses and other offices in the area.
  2. The creation of a network to support those Christians who work in the Market Place.
  3. The running of activities, events and courses where people can begin to engage with the Christian Faith.
  4. The thoughtful development of the building to serve the wider communities needs.

At the moment we are continuing the process of discerning the best way to go about these tasks.
