Youth and children

St. Nic’s welcomes children and young people into the church. We have a strong Sunday-based ministry which is supported by a range of activities and groups catering for all ages from 0 to 18 years.

The 10.15am service on a Sunday includes groups for youth and children. Below is a summary of what we have going on for Children and Young people throughout the week.

See more about the groups and events we have for children (under 10s) and youth (10s and over) by browsing the tabs on the left.  See events this week for specific dates and times.

All our groups work within social service guidelines for adult:child ratios and our volunteers are regulated through the Diocesan Child Protection Scheme.

New: Youth church now has it's own blog! We update this each week to let you know what we have been up to. Check it out to see what we have been doing.

St. Nic's Protection of children and vulnberable adults policy is linked with the Diocese of Durham Safeguarding document available here. Full_Safe_and_Secure_08_2.pdf
